Dr. Ajaz ul Hamid Wani has been awarded the prestigious Wellcome Trust-DBT Intermediate Fellowship

Dr. Ajaz ul Hamid Wani from the Department of Biotechnology has been awarded the prestigious Wellcome Trust-DBT Intermediate Fellowship  by the Wellcome Trust-DBT India Alliance with an outlay of Rs. 3.58 crore. He is the first recipient of this award from the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

He has been also awarded Early Career Research Award  by the Department of Science and Technology, govt. of India with financial support of Rs. 50 lakh.
